Though having sick grandparents alters the memories our kids can make with them, the lessons about suffering and eternity they’ll learn in the process are priceless.

When loss and grief intersect with our motherhood, we have the privilege of showing our kids that Jesus “is the safest and surest place to run.”

We can be thankful for the children we have and grieve the ones we have lost—trusting that God works all things for our good.

If we fear the Lord instead of fearing all the “what ifs” in our children’s lives, we can find rest and refuge in him, even amidst the uncertainties of parenting.

When we think of God as Father, we realize we can run to him freely and confidently—no matter the situation.
